Hello, good day and welcome to the website of the Kraft-Hotel. Let us introduce our hotel. As keen travellers ourselves, we discovered during our overseas journeys particularly in USA how convenient and inexpensive it can be to overnight in a comfortable motel along the way. We brought the concept back to Germany and built a small motel in quiet surroundings, readily accessible from the highway.
Here is what the newest “Rough Guide” writes about us on page 414: “Kraft-Hotel”, this new and inexpensive American-style motel, 12 km northwest of the citycentre (Worms) near 56 exit on the A 61/ E 31 Autobahn, is well worth considering if your're travelling by car.
We offer 16 rooms, all equipped with shower and
toilet, hairdryer,
desk, tea- and coffeemaker, two beds.
We have an outside pool. And you can park directly in front of your room. To start your new day the restaurant across the street offers daily a breakfast buffet (Euros 7,50 per person).

only accept cash, no credit cards.
The motel is built in the American Style, and is of two storeys each with eight rooms. All rooms have individual external access via balconies. They are fully self-contained, centrally heated, and furnished with TV and two single beds which can be arranged as twins or doubles. It goes without saying that all rooms are kept clean and comfortable. The generous car parking is free of charge.
The Kraft-Hotel is well located, about 500 meters (550 yards/ 1/3 mile) from the highway exit 56. The nearest population centre is the historical town of Worms, now a modern city of 75,000 inhabitants situated on the banks of the Rhine. Worms is famous for the Cathedral (Dom St. Peter) and "Heiliger Sand" (Holy Sand), the oldest Jewish graveyard in Europe (even older than that in Prague). In Worms you can also find the largest monument to Martin Luther. It was in 1521 that Martin Luther came to Worms and refused to revoke his writings because it "would be dangerous to act contrary to ones own conscience".
About the area: Between Mainz and the Land's southern border are two of Germany's most prestigious wine regions. Rhine-Hesse (Rheinhessen), the immediate hinterland of the city, is given a distinctive appearance by the Trullos, small conical white shelters for vineyard workers in among the vines. These are of a type only normally found in Apulia in Italy, and are said to have been built by Italian immigrants 150 years ago. In the Palatinate (Pfalz) further south there are around 230 square kilometres of vineyards and in some places the climate becomes almost sub-tropical, enabling farmers to grow lemons, figs and tobacco as well as vines.
